30 апреля этого года королева Нидерландов ушла в отставку, а место на троне занял ее сын, крон-принц. В честь столь знаменательного события закатили грандиозный праздник, ведь у страны не было короля уже много лет! Открытку с иллюстрацией известного детского художника Фипа Вестендорпа прислала Мариан. Спасибо ей большое!

On 30th of April of the current year The queen of The Netherlands resigned from her position and her son, the crown-prince, became a king. In honor of such a great event a large-scale celebration was organised - the country hadn't had a king for many years! This postcard with the drawing of famous children's illustrator Fiep Westendorp was sent by Marian, big thanks to her!
